This 2005 Lexus
IS250 came to us from a customer in Tetbury for a light correction
detail, Nano-ceramic paint seal for ease of maintenance, engine bay
valeting and headlight restoration to remove yellowing from
oxidisation and restore the lens clarity.
The paintwork was
quite dull and, under lights, the bonnet and roof in particular
showed signs of poor washing technique in the form of heavy scratching
and swirl marks.
A multi stage machine polish over the space of 10 hours took care of these and gave a huge lift to the paintwork.
The 4 piece engine covers were removed for thorough cleaning and the rest of the engine bay steam cleaned and dressed back to perfection before refitting.
The headlights were then carefully wet sanded and machine polished clear of all degradation, and a coat of crystal lacquer applied to protect the finish.
Finally the 2 stage protective glass coat was applied to the paintwork and allowed to cure for 24 hours ready for the customer to collect.
